Laser Printer(s)

Laser printers use an electrostatic digital printing process. It produces high-quality text and graphics (and moderate-quality photographs) by repeatedly passing a laser beam back and forth over a negatively charged cylinder called a "drum" to define a differentially charged image. The drum then selectively collects electrically charged powdered ink (toner), and transfers the image to paper, which is then heated in order to permanently fuse the text, imagery, or both. As with digital photocopiers, laser printers employ a xerographic printing process. Laser printing differs from traditional xerography as implemented in analog photocopiers in that in the latter, the image is formed by reflecting light off an existing document onto the exposed drum.

Inkjet Printer(s)

Inkjet Printers use a type of computer printing that recreates a digital image by propelling droplets of ink onto paper, plastic, or other substrates. Inkjet printers are the most commonly used type of printer and range from small inexpensive consumer models to expensive professional machines. Inkjet printers tend to be a good fit for small businesses because of their cost efficiency.

Large-format Printers

The Roland DG name is synonymous with superior digital printing equipment, performance, reliability, service and support. Roland’s user friendly but technologically advanced wide-format printers, integrated inkjet printers/cutters, and a wide range of Roland inks and media, offers a solution that perfectly suits the needs of graphics professionals. Whether you’re looking for a UV printer for product personalization and specialty graphics, dye-sublimation printers for fabric, soft signage and merchandising applications, or inkjet printers and integrated printer/cutters for traditional sign and graphics production, Roland large format printing machines represent unlimited possibilities for graphics professionals

Multi-function Printer(s)

Multi-Function Printer or MFP (multi-function product/printer/peripheral), multi-functional, all-in-one (AIO), or multi-function device (MFD), is an office machine which incorporates the functionality of multiple devices in one, so as to have a smaller footprint in a home or small business setting (the SOHO market segment), or to provide centralized document management/distribution/production in a large-office setting. A typical MFP may act as a combination of some or all of the following devices: email, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner. Multi-Function Printers are great for saving space because they can print, scan, fax, and copy with just one printing unit. These Multi-Function printers are available in inkjet and laser printer engines.
